For my 26th Birthday, I opted for a rich lemon curd tart. The flaky crust is accented with toasted almonds. The rich lemon filling is luscious and smooth enough to eat by the spoonful or spread thin on warm toast.
Besides the fact that I do absolutely adore lemons, it was a good alternative to cake. Less filling, lighter, and the presentation of a perfectly crafted tart really does make an impact. Perfect spring time dessert. Enjoy!
